I’m pleased to let everyone know that we have started populating the grids, which means Jazz Fest 2013 is just around the corner! I’m also pleased to announce that Jazz Fest Grids is now the property of the Threadhead Cultural Foundation, a non-profit 501(3)(c)(3) organization which you can find information about here http://thrfoundation.com/
As many of you already know, Michele (Orleansnj) is passing on the gridmaster title and we want to thank her and all the other threadheads who have poured countless hours into making the grids a success over the years. That means we are going through a transition here and we hope you are patient with us until we get into a groove. We will do our best, but we all know that no matter how many times we check there will be many, many, many changes so don't blow a gasket if you don't see something up there, if it is listed wrong, if it conflicts with something else that's listed on another site - because it's all subject to change at a moment's notice. If you see something that needs to be revised or should be added, shoot me an email using the link to the left (which should be updated today) or to papagrowsnyc at gmail dot com.
Also be reminded that the contents of this site are a collaborative effort among the Threadheads, you cannot copy it for your own website (but you may link to ours with our permission) and you cannot use the contents for articles, the development of apps, websites or other technology.

Grids Almost Finished
As is true every year, we need to pick a date and time to stop adding updates to the grids. Part of it is just the nature of the beast, as there is always something that will change, but most of it is for our end users. Lots of people like to print the grids out before JazzFest begins. In anticipation of that, we will stop making updates to the grids on Monday, April 23rd at 8pm CST.
If something changes after that - we might make the update, we might not.... I will do my best because it is always about the music - but if someone printed out their grids on Tuesday the 24th - they might not catch the change. Just an FYI.
For those of you would will be using our fabulous new 'make your own' feature as well as printing out the grids - please wait until Tuesday, April 24th.... I know - I'm asking a lot - y'all are looking multiple times a day :) but I want you to have the best possible info on your print out .....
It's a mere ten days away - and only 9 days before the FREE Threadhead Thursday show at City Park!!!!! (6pm in the Botanical Garden).
Keep those show updates coming and keep buying those tickets!

It's Almost JazzFest Time!
It's only a few short weeks away..... It's hard to believe the world's most fabulous music event is just three weeks from now - YIPPPPIIIIEEEEEEEEE!!!
Lots of new shows have been added to the grids over the past two weeks. Now the time when edits are made, artists change their schedules, cancel gigs, and a few confusing entries and double bookings come to light :) These things are all part of the natural course of events at JazzFest so do check back lots before it all gets here! Yes, there will be some frustrations - but remember - there is just tooooooo much fantastic music to be upset if something changes :)
Can't wait to see everyone here - and there will be more to come - no doubt!
Special Note to Musicians: Just a reminder - the LAST DAY the grids will be updated is MONDAY, April 23rd. So make sure y'all get your info in and straight by then - PLEASE. Trust me - there will be plenty o 'custom grid makin' and printing going on that night and I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on your band or your gig !!!
